The shaft is required for all x-hook attachments. It is engineered to screw into the existing tow hook slot in the front (and sometimes rear) bumper of your car – no modification necessary.
Please note, the length of the shaft is designed to protrude far enough to clear stock bumpers. If you need a custom length to clear an aftermarket bumper, please contact us, we’d be happy to make one custom for you.
– Fits on the front bumper, and often the rear bumper as well.
– CNC machined from rust-resistant billet stainless steel. Our competitors use “alloy” or “Chromoly” steel – WHICH WILL RUST.
– Powder coated to perfection in satin black.
